We're Paul and Saori McClure — a husband-and-wife team with one foot in Canada and one foot in Japan. Paul fell in love with Japan on his first trip in 2017; Saori grew up immersed in it her whole life. That combination shapes everything we create together.
We don't hand you a checklist of temples and bullet trains. We build journeys around tea ceremonies that actually mean something, conversations that go deeper than a translated menu, and the kind of small, unscripted moments that end up being the ones you remember most.
Many of our clients come to us looking for something deeper than a vacation — a way back to family history, to heritage, to roots that stretch back generations. Using Japanese family registries, known as koseki, Saori has helped travellers of Japanese descent trace their lineage to a specific village, a specific home, a specific story.
Whether this is your first visit to Japan or your fifth, our role stays the same: to make sure your time there feels less like a trip, and more like an experience that's signature to you.
